Suspect wanted for hit and run in Elmont

Police reported a driver crashed into a home in Elmont and took off after striking a police officer. It happened on Saturday around 5:30am on Ludlam Avenue near 3rd Street. The driver was involved in another vehicle accident and took off. Then crashed into a home and took off the second time. One of the officer was run over on foot by the suspect's vehicle and was taken to hospital with injuries. The suspect is still at large.
