Suspect wanted for assault and stolen vehicle in Rego Park

Police reported a suspect went into a parking garage at 92-77 Queens Blvd in Rego Park and stole a vehicle after attacking the attendant. It happened on Saturday around 2:20pm. Police stated the suspect approached 59 year old worker who was parking attendant and demanded a vehicle. When the worker refused, the suspect took out a gun. The worker ran out but the suspect followed and attacked the victim. Then took off with a vehicle that had key inside. The suspect took off westbound Queens Blvd. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police described the suspect as male, black, 25 years old, 5'7", around 160lbs. Ongoing investigation.
