Police arrested Guillermo Fernandez after setting up a sting in Farmingdale for Grand Larceny.

The incident was reported when a 91 year old woman received a call from a woman claiming to be her granddaughter arrested in Haiti.

Fernandez then posed as a cop to pick up the cash from the victim's residence and police busted him on the spot.

Both Nassau and Suffolk Counties are advising all to call 911 immediately for such incidents if occurred.
