Sunrise Highway shutdown in Long Island

Police closed off the Sunrise Highway at Exit 40 in Long Island reporting multiple vehicle accident with serious injuries. Traffic is being rerouted. This happened on the westbound. Eastbound wil open up after EMS clears with all involved. Ongoing investigation.
