Student arrests reported in Queens and Long Island

This morning, the NYPD reported Cardozo High School in Bayside was on lock down after a student was taken into custody from a social media post.

Also in the afternoon, a Long Island high school went locked down after students reported someone with a weapon outside. The SCPD confirmed the incident at Copiague High School in Suffolk County. Three students were arrested after the incident.

NYC and Long Island reported the similar incidents since the start of school.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
