State police is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision in the Town of Ulster

On December 28, 2024, at approximately 6:15 a.m., the New York State Police responded 3 miles north of exit 19 southbound on Interstate 87 to investigate a one-car fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred in the town of Ulster. The operator and sole occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
