State Police searching for perp who shot state trooper on Southern State Parkway

State Police are seeking a black sedan, possibly a Dodge Charger, with NJ temp tag 997636T, involved in the shooting of a Trooper on the Southern State Pkwy in Hempstead on 10/30/24 at 11:45 p.m. The Trooper is in stable condition. Please call 631-756-3300  if you have info.
