State Police arrested three suspects on robbery charges

On November 15, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., troopers from State Police Haverstraw responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred on the Palisades Interstate Parkway northbound at Exit 10 in New City, NY.

The investigation revealed that the 21-year-old male victim reported leaving a bar located at 94 Main Street, Nyack, NY, with a female he had met inside the establishment. The female later identified as Jordyn M. Casserly, age 22, of Monroe, NY, convinced the victim they would be traveling to her residence. The victim believed that a car that arrived outside the bar was a rideshare vehicle and that it had come to pick them up.

Upon entering the vehicle with Casserly, the victim observed two unknown male occupants. The males were later identified as Jason Butler, age 25, of Wurtsboro, NY and Kyle J. Youngberg, age 38, of Middletown, NY. The victim was robbed at gunpoint and released on the Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 10 and the suspect vehicle fled the area.

A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) was issued to patrols in the surrounding area. Shortly afterward, the suspects were located, and troopers conducted a high-risk traffic stop on Derby Road in Wallkill, NY. All three suspects were taken into custody without further incident.
