State Police arrest an incarcerated woman following a juror tampering investigation

On June 15, 2026, State Police of Queensbury arrested Crystina Y. Dean, 36, of Bedford, NY, for Tampering with a Juror 1st, a class “A” misdemeanor.

On February 6, 2026, Investigators were contacted by the Warren County District Attorney’s Office, reporting that a potential juror had been tampered with. The investigation determined that Dean, who was the defendant in an upcoming trial, reportedly contacted a third party residing out of state. Dean allegedly requested that the individual contact a potential juror for her trial via social media and instruct the potential juror to provide false information to the court, which could influence the outcome of jury selection. The potential juror notified the Juror Commissioner immediately and was relieved of their jury duty.
