On Thursday June 19, 2025, at approximately 1:30 PM, the New York State Police responded to 2 St. Regis Carry Road in the Town of Harrtietstown for a trespass complaint.

Upon their arrival, police interviewed the caretaker of the property who reported an unknown individual was found sleeping in a vehicle parked within a shed on the property.  The individual was identified as JAMIL J. DABNEY (7/22/82) Philadelphia, PA.

Another individual was located on the property, and he appeared to be under the influence of illicit drugs.  Due to his apparent condition and inability to care for himself, he was transported to Adirondack Medical Center via ambulance for further evaluation.

Further investigation determined the vehicle DABNEY was sleeping in was reported to be stolen from Pennsylvania.  DABNEY was arrested and processed at SP Ray Brook for one count of Burglary in the 3rd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree.  Dabney was arraigned in the town of Harrietstown Court and released on his own recognizance, with a return date of July 21, 2025, at 11:00AM.
