State Police arrest East Greenbush man for felony drug possession following Colonie traffic stop

On December 8, 2024, at about 10:20 p.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle being operated by Slurff on Loudon Road in Colonie, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.  The investigation revealed that Slurff did not have a valid license, and his vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. He was found to possess controlled substances, and while being taken into custody, Troopers located an illegal brass knuckle and knife combination weapon in his waistband.  Additional controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were also discovered in his vehicle.

Slurff was transported to SP Latham from processing, where he refused to be evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) or provide a sample to determine the drug content of his blood. Slurff was arraigned at the Colonie Town Court, who released him under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department.
