People went for cover after SSP incident

This afternoon around 1pm, the NCPD reported a single vehicle where a driver claimed to lose control while on the Southern State Parkway. This is on the westbound by Exit 13 Central Avenue in Valley Stream.

The vehicle crashed toward fences into the backyard of a home with entrapment. ESU removed all involved and EMS transported them to local hospitals.

By 3pm, the right lane was cleared for traffic.

The investigation continues.
