Starting September free lunch to all NYC public school kids

Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina announced all NYC public school kids regardless of parental income including homeless will receive free lunch starting September 7 for the school year 2017. The program is called, "Free School Lunch for All" will apply to all. Before 80% students received free lunch while the 20% had to pay. The funding was arranged through Community Eligibility Provison as part of the US Government. Breakfast has been free and now lunch will be an addition.
