Spa Castle owners busted for not paying taxes

NYS Attorney General and Dept of Taxation and Finance reported of four owners of Spa Castle, 131-10 11th Ave in College Point was charged with 11 counts of not paying more than $1.5 million in sales taxes from 2010 to 2013 from the $22 million gross sales the company generated. All four identified as Steven Chon, 57, Daniel Chon, 54 and Victor Chon, 50. All three are brothers and a daughter, Stephanie Chon, 29. All four were released on $100,000 bail. If convicted, all are facing prison sentence for 15 years. Reported 3pm.
