Some and then some homeless in Glen Oaks doesn t come from Creedmoor

By word of mouth, homeless activity in Glen Oaks increased by people arriving to the area. The new breed are not from Creedmoor. Some are discharged from nearby hospitals who may came from the Bronx or Brooklyn. Few came from out of state seeking shelters. After speaking to the homeless spot on the corner of Winchester Blvd and Union Turnpike to Hillside Avenue, most were not Creedmoor patients but dropped off by non-profit agencies that helps them off the streets. Most knows the location is the right spot to drop off without concerns. Where they go from there is known only to the people dropped off at the bus stop. Due to two sectors dealing with homeless crisis, NYC and NYS, the blame game goes around with no results. Until then, residents of Glen Oaks will have to tolerate dealing with homeless people. correction - not all but some and then some.
