So much energy needed to keep NYC running

The NY Governor announced a new gas pipeline is planned to be added in 2028 in Queens to expand the new fossil fuel infrastructure.

Transco the company filed the plan for the construction in Pennsylvania to connect to NY via Raritan Bay which is another task scheduled with no timeline to complete.

Also, adding battery storage centers in various undisclosed locations in Queens.

Despite solar panels and other models involving renewable energy, it's still lagging behind due to the demand in all five boroughs.

With new construction in NYC where all buildings must be electric and no fossil fuel, adding electric generators around undisclosed locations is scheduled on track with construction.
