Single car crash with one dead in Jamaica

The NYPD reported a single crash with the driver dead in Jamaica. The incident was reported on Tuesday morning around 5:30am on 90th Avenue near 143rd Street. Police stated the lone driver hit a curb, then hit a parked vehicle and landed inside a garage. This resulted in the collapse of the structure of the garage. EMS pronounced the driver of the Toyota RAV4, male, 63, dead after arriving at the local hospital. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. EMS reported there were no other injuries.
