Shooting investigation in Astoria

Last night around 3:30am, police were called to the intersection of 42nd Street and 31st Avenue reporting a male shot. This is in Astoria.

EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital.

Police are now searching for the suspect, male, black who took off on foot.

Ongoing investigation.
