Shooting investigation has more work for cops in Corona

Last night around 10pm, a dispute turned into a shooting in Corona. This is at the intersection of 103rd Street and 41st Avenue. Police say two suspects, males, Hispanics took off on foot toward an unknown direction.

EMS transported the male who was shot to a local hospital.

So far no arrests. The investigation continues.

The shooting spree continues in Queens where local residents pleading for more cops but the Mayor's office still insist the city is safe and no need for more police presence.

This came after a shooting left with one dead in the vicinity of 57th Avenue and 108th Street in December last year while another shot. The arrest was made last week and the local community says the dead victim had two children now in foster care.

Meanwhile, gun control is not working on Roosevelt Avenue where a minimum of two victims are robbed on a daily basis whether it’s the road or subway.
