Shirley residents called for help resulting busts

The SCPD reported calls came in for gunshots heard in the vicinity of Brookhaven Aquatic Center yesterday around 6pm. Further investigation confirmed with assaults leading to multiple arrests. Police say this was a gathering where teens were allegedly involved in a fight club. EMS reported two people were struck with the bullets after another perp fired round during the unauthorized event. Cops say all arrested were teens living in the local area of Suffolk County. All were arraigned today at the local court.

The investigation continues.
