Privilege extension continues in LIC

Once an industrial area, Long Island City has reached the level of privilege with discrimination among the Queens residents, especially the long-timers. With average rent now closing $4,000 a month with more extension to the waterfront where high rise residential buildings with spectacular views of Manhattan, no need to take the MTA bus or subway but the ferry which costs $4.50 each way from the Gantry Plaza to East 34th Street, the prime location of employment center. So what's the catch? Learn to earn $150K plus and life is awesome surrounded by everything NYC has to offer. Soon, that number will need to be over $200,000 when the rent rise to $5K.

According to Metropolis Moving, the demographic ratio is 34% Asians, 29% white, 22% Hispanic, 10% African American and 5% identify as two or more races makes the area diverse and culturally enriched with most coming from high net worth families.

LIC is now the fourth biggest skyline in NYC after midtown and downtown Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn. The next one catching up is Flushing also in Queens followed by Jamaica.

Oh Jamaica.

Queens is on a roll with skylines so save up and move to one to see the view of Manhattan and the world instead of living in Manhattan.
