Security guard assaulted at LIJ hospital in New Hyde Park

NHP - Northwell LIJ Hospital - On Saturday, May 6 around 4pm, a security guard was assaulted. The incident took place near 76th Avenue and 269th Street. Police reported the perp was smoking and was confronted by the security guard. After the incident, the perp took off. Additional details are not provided. Ongoing investigation. Reported 11am.
