Santore always say bring it on in Rockaways

The NYPD laid to rest one of their own, Officer Paul Santore who was assigned to the 100th Precinct. A 15 year veteran, Santore worked at the Rockaway precinct from August 1993 to July 2023 when he announced his retirement. Then he went to work for a private security company until retired last year.

Santore's funeral was March 10 on Long Island.

The 100th Precinct serves a southern portion of Queens on the Rockaway Peninsula, and contains Arverne, Belle Harbor, Breezy Point, Broad Channel, Neponsit, Rockaway Park, Rockaway Beach, and Roxbury. Many cops request transfers but Santore remained there till his last day on the job.

Many lifetime residents remember Santore for his touch policing and was a name they won't forget.
