SSP westbound is closed in Suffolk County

Police closed off all lanes on the Southern State Parkway westbound at Exit 37 reporting vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. ESU, EMS and firefighters are working on the scene. The motorcyclist is in serious condition. Chopper enroute for transport. Avoid the route. This is in West Babylon.

Update - The motorcyclist died.
