Rush mad for that paycheck tomorrow for NYC municipal workers

As of Sunday, the mayor’s office reported the latest vaxx from these groups, NYPD at 84%, EMS at 84%, DSNY at 79% and FDNY at 72%.

Several FDNY stations remain closed due to staff shortage. The same with NYPD officers. However, the mayor’s press released this statement, To be very clear, FDNY has not closed any firehouses. The vast majority of FDNY employees have gotten vaccinated. Response times remain strong, availability has not been impacted.

Currently, the total workers vaxxed stands at 91% for NYC and another 2,300 got the shots pleasing the mayor but not for long until more rallies were announced.
