Roosevelt Avenue to have no parking during rush hours

Starting mid-March, Roosevelt Avenue between Broadway and 90th Street will have new signs of no parking from 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm angering local businessees. The fine for parking is $115 and NYPD has assigned more enforcement officers while the signs are underway. Local businesses complained those are the peak times for delivery and shopping times by locals. Local politicians are supporting the plan to reduce congestion on Roosevelt Avenue due to public transportation routes.
