Road rage resulted with one arrest in Valley Stream

The NCPD reports the arrest of a Valley Stream man for a Robbery that occurred on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 3:16 PM in Valley Stream.
According to Detectives, Police responded to a 911 call for a 56-year-old male victim, who was involved in a road rage incident with another driver. The victim stated he took out his cell phone to record the subject who was arguing with him, when the subject punched him in the face and forcibly removed his cellphone. The subject then fled the location in an unknown direction.
A short time later, Officers located defendant Damian Turner 39, of 73 Broadway and placed him under arrest for the above crime.
Defendant Turner is charged with Robbery 2nd degree and Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Upon further investigation, defendant Turner was also charged with Criminal Contempt from a prior case. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at First District Court, 99 Main street, Hempstead. (From NCPD)
