Long Island man busted for multiple deaths from overdoses

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of an Amityville man on April 18, 2022 at 8:40 PM in Amityville for the possession and sale of narcotics.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, an investigation into (2) two fatal overdoses and (1) one non-fatal overdose of three Nassau County residents lead to the identification of the defendant, Donnell Lewis, 39, of 22 Emerald Lane North. Defendant Donnell Lewis was located on Emerald Lane North and placed under arrest without incident.
Defendant Donnell Lewis has been charged with (9) nine counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and (9) nine counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday April 19, 2022 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
Donnell Lewis was previously arrested in Suffolk County and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and was released without bail in November of 2021. (From NCPD)
