Road rage resulted one shot on Springfield Blvd

Police closed off Springfield Blvd reporting a male shot after a road rage incident. This is by the Belt Parkway in Laurelton.

Reported the incident started on Hillside Avenue in Queens Village from the parking lot of McDonald's where witnesses alerted police of an assault.

EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital.

ESU recovered shell casings.

So far no arrests.

Ongoing investigation.
