Rats are winning so follow the new rule

The NYC Mayor announced a new law starting next fall, all buildings with nine or less tenants and residents must have their waste in secured containers. This means no more black, white, gray or even other colored plastic bags outside.

The Mayor's Office stated this also applies for residential units working on a plan so homeowners can learn before getting screwed by the fine from sanitation enforcement.

All must use official containers approved by the city to look good from a public view by 2026 when the city introduces them and it's below the retail price to buy.
