Rape investigation ongoing in New Hyde Park

The NYPD reported a rape incident on February 4 in the vicinity of 76th Avenue near 265th Street. This is in New Hyde Park on the Queens side. The incident was reported in the evening when the victim broke out from the location and alerted police. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital. Due to the nature of the incident, additional details were not provided.

A perp was apprehended following the investigation with the victim's cooperation.
