Raccoon lives matter started in Queens

Along with Queens and Brooklyn, the NYC Mayor's office stated vaccinations on raccoons who are like a pet that wander at night looting garbage cans for food. This came after around 10 raccoons were found positive with rabies.

A small bait packet with chemicals will be placed around local areas including parks where raccoons are heavily roam around. For Queens, Flushing Meadow Corona, Alley Pond and Hunter's Point South Park.

From the NYC Park Dept has this message for all, “If a bait packet must be moved, residents are advised to use gloves or a plastic bag, wash their hands with warm soapy water, talk to their provider, and notify the NYC Poison Center at 212-POISONS (212-764-7667).”

Raccoons are loving pets of NYC embraced by all races, culture and religion.
