Queens victims facing sexual attacks despite plea for more cops

Today around 1:30pm, the latest incident involving sexual assault occurred outside the local Queensborough Community College in Bayside. A victim while waiting outside was traumatized by the incident. Two suspects, males, Hispanics are on the hunt.

As of September, the NYPD reported the highest incidents in Queens from public transportation to local schools and colleges.

Queens Blvd public transportation reported the most incidents despite pleas for more cops inside the subways.

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of a suspect, male, Asian Indian wanted for allegedly groping a victim inside the 74th Street Roosevelt Avenue subway station in Jackson Heights.

According to Asian Indian groups, the victims refuse to come forth due to fear of retaliation and insults from the community of getting a bad name involving families.

The Queens District Attorney's Office has stated the victims will be protected from public information related to sexual crimes. However, it's the own family members the victims are afraid of from coming forth with their statements to the District Attorney.
