Queens has the highest number of people leaving NYC

According to Census Bureau, between July 2017 to 2018, 17,959 residents of Queens left New York for good. That's the highest compared to 13,555 in Brooklyn, 1,079 in Manhattan, 7,593 in the Bronx and 663 in Staten Island. 39,523 residents left NYC after adding it all up. Most of them left for southwest and western parts of USA. Still NYC with combination of Jersey City and Newark remains the most populous metro city for the year 2018 followed by Los Angeles, Anaheim and Long Beach.
