Queens Village man arrested for Floral Park bank robbery

Police arrested Rajiv P Ramjas, 33 of Queens Village and charged with robbery. The incident happened on Sunday, June 2 around 11:45am at TD Bank in 372 Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park. According to Robbery Squad Detectives, Ramjase entered the bank, approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the subject fled with an undisclosed amount of currency. Ramjas fled on foot westbound through the parking lot. Ramjas was arrested a short time later on Pontiac Street, Queens Village. There were 7 employees and 2 customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no reported injuries.
