Queens NY injury three car crash at 69th St

An accident involving three cars happened on Friday evening at around 9:30 p. m. at the junction of 69th St and Grand Ave in Maspeth, Queens, leading to multiple injuries. As per the New York Police Department (NYPD), the crash occurred at 4151 69th St and involved three vehicles, with emergency responders arriving rapidly at the scene.

Police documentation reveals that the event took place when one of the vehicles, moving at a high speed, crashed into two other vehicles. The strength of the collision resulted in substantial damage to all three cars, and emergency personnel were summoned to the scene soon after the accident. Firefighters needed to free one person from their car before they could be taken to a nearby hospital for care.

Ambulances were swiftly sent out, and one individual was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with serious injuries. Two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were also transported to the hospital for assessment. Fortunately, there were no reported fatalities, but the accident caused significant traffic delays in the vicinity.

Authorities quickly took charge of the scenario, managing traffic around the accident site while the investigation and cleanup efforts were in progress. The NYPD is looking into the cause of the accident, and initial information indicates that speed could have been a contributing factor. The identities of those involved have not yet been disclosed, pending further inquiry.
