Queens NY Injury Pedestrian Crash at Roosevelt Ave and Union St

An injury pedestrian crash occurred on Monday afternoon at the intersection of Roosevelt Ave and Union St in Flushing, Queens. The incident was reported by the New York Police Department (NYPD) at approximately 2:44 p.m. First responders were quickly on the scene, where they found the victim trapped under the car. An ambulance was urgently needed, and authorities confirmed that no one else was trapped at the scene.

According to the NYPD, police and emergency medical services (EMS) worked together to extricate the victim from beneath the car. The injured pedestrian was then transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. As of the latest updates, the condition of the pedestrian remains critical.

Firefighters assisted with the extraction of the car and helped clear the scene. Authorities also took measures to control traffic around the busy intersection, as congestion worsened due to the accident.
