Queens Covid Remembrance Day

May 1 at the Forest Park Bandshell in Woodhaven. The volunteers are working to decorate the park's section with names and images of those gone from the RONA. According to the event, 400 residents of the Boro of Queens NYC will be memorialized on empty benches adorned with their image drawn by Faces Of Covid Victims. Non-Queens residents will be included with their name on a yellow heart surrounding the bandshell. These hearts will be provided by the Yellow Heart Memorial.
