Pursuit resulted with arrests in Hempstead

Police tracked a suspicious vehicle on Hempstead Turnpike around 1pm ordered to pull over. The driver refused and a pursuit started. One of the suspects aimed a weapon at the officer's vehicle alerting more police personnel. The vehicle was stopped by Front Street by 3pm with heavy police vehicles. Four suspects inside the vehicle were placed under arrest. Police also recovered weapons from the vehicle.

Further investigation reported all four suspects are wanted for over 20 armed robberies in Nassau County.

Charges are pending.
