Pursuit from Brooklyn to Bayside

Police were on the Belt Parkway eastbound to the Cross Island Parkway during a pursuit of a vehicle with two suspects wanted for robberies. In the vicinity of Linden Blvd Exit in Elmont, one suspect, male, black exited the vehicle and took off on foot. Police were able to apprehend the suspect shortly. The other suspect, male, black continue with pursuit to the LIE westbound. Chopper tracked the vehicle to Cunningham Park where the suspect was cornered at the intersection of 210 Street and 73rd Avenue.

The suspect was taken into custody.

Charges are pending for both suspects.

The incident was reported around 2pm today.
