Protest in Oyster Bay

A group of parents and children gathered at Oyster Bay Town Hall against a hotel in Jericho being converted into homeless shelter today. The former Hampton Inn on Jericho Turnpike has the green light from the NYS officials and local community claimed they were not notified. The plan is to convert the hotel into 80 suites for the homeless. The officials are now working with the community to discuss the next step.
