Protest in Merrick

Police are on Sunrise Highway at the Merrick LIRR station reporting protest. Sunrise Highway in both direction shut down. Traffic is re-routed in both Nassau and Queens border. Additional police personnel called for crowd control.
Now around 2,000 people are heading to a Bellmore.
Southern State Parkway from Exit 22 to 25 closed for protesters.
