Press Conference on Monday on Prop 1 in NY

The Coalition to Protect Kids NY is having a press conference in NY including Manhattan this Monday. Prop 1 is called Equal Rights Amendment.

According to their statement,

Parents know what is best for kids, NOT the government.

New Yorkers aren’t looking to replace parents with state laws.

That is why The Coalition to Protect Kids New York is asking all New Yorkers to do just that, protect our kids. Vote NO on Prop One this November and tell the politicians in Albany that enough is enough.

According to the NY Statewide Ballot Proposal,

the Prop 1 is listed as the following,

Adds anti-discrimination provisions to State Constitution. Covers ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, and sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity and pregnancy. Also covers reproductive healthcare and autonomy.

This will be on the ballot in November during election day.
