Basement fire reported in Richmond Hill

FDNY reported a second alarm at a commercial location in Richmond Hill. This is on 101st Avenue and 133rd Avenue at 133-04. The fire started in the basement and extended throughout the building.

EMS reported minor injuries to firefighters.

The fire started around 1am and was brought under control by 2:15am.

This was an auto body shop.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
