Police officer attacked in Kew Gardens

Heavy police personnel at the Kew Gardens Union Turnpike subway station after a police officer was attacked to the ground.

The suspect took off under the tunnel toward Jamaica direction.

ESU is working on the scene.

EMS is attending to the officer.

It is not known what escalated into attack as of yet.

The suspect is male, black, 30's.
