Police involved shooting on Jamaica Avenue

The NYPD closed off Jamaica Avenue reporting a perp shot dead after a pursuit. This is by 164 Street in Jamaica.

One of the officer shot along with a bystander who is a female during the incident.

This was a robbery reported in Guy R Brewer Blvd when police tracked down the suspect on Jamaica Avenue.

EMS is working to transport both to local hospitals.

The area is closed off by police.

ESU recovered the weapon.
