Police are on massive hunt for homicide suspect from Glen Oaks to Bellerose

On Wednesday, November 8 around 2:45pm, police reported of carjacking in Queens Village. Further investigation of the vehicle leads to Cross Island Parkway in Bellerose where the suspect took off on foot. Police reported he has been identified as Andre Patton, 47 who is wanted for the homicide of a deacon in Roosevelt that occurred on Friday, November 3 around 10:30pm. Police are searching around in the vicinity of Cross Island Parkway from Glen Oaks to Bellerose for Patton who is also armed and dangerous. The deacon identified as Patrick Logsdon, 70 was stabbed multiple times at the Roosevelt halfway house, Anthony House where Patton also lived. Logdson was working in the halfway house as the manager helping residents with drug problems and homeless. Pattton was last seen at 219th Street and 114th Street according to witnesses where he may have hidden since the homicide. Both NYPD and Nassau County police are working in the joint investigation.
