Please behave conserving utilities in NYC

Due to the ongoing heat wave around NYC, ConEd has reduced power levels especially in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, impacting the neighborhoods. All are to behave and limit the use of washers, dryers, A/C, and other energy-intensive equipment, to turn off lights when not needed.

Go to the cooling centers and relax all day with nothing to do except vote for the primary.

Remember, the utility lobbyists, vendors and all involved control the people who pleaded to local elected officials for help. The local elected officials then draft a bill to pass or not with no known circumstances of time frame.

Meanwhile, please pay the utility bills on time.

If not paid, then oh well, the meter is shut off.

The good news is Manhattan not affected at all. Hey Times Square lights on is a must always.
