Plane crash on Long Island with fatalities

MacArthur Airport closed after a small plane crash with two people inside dead. The SCPD are on the scene reporting the crash occurred around 6:30pm. Heavy rescue activity at the airport. This is on Runaway 6.

The plane crashed during take off.

FAA and NTSB are also working on the scene.

Additional details were not disclosed.
