Phase out is the term for migrants in NYC

The NYC Mayor's Office stated shelters closing is in the phase out stage without dates including Creedmoor in Bellerose.

The operation will wind down slowly based on the migrants requirements and needs to be provided by taxpayers.

So until then this operation will continue as usual.

From the local non profit that oversees Creedmoor on Hillside Avenue say many migrants have been moved to other shelters while most have self deported.

The Mayor's Office stated 52 shelters will be closed by June but won't disclose the status of the remaining ones in NYC.

This is due to keep the operation going with payrolls again funded by taxpayers.

Meanwhile, ICE is still operative in NYC and won't disclose any details.

As for Texas, the immigrant processing centers are shutting down due to lack of service after border crossings have dropped to the lowest in history.

Still many New Yorkers say they miss migrants who were treated with dignity, respect and compassion but none took them to their homes.
